ACTICHEM Powerstrip - Floor Stripper & Coating Remover - 15L

ACTICHEM Powerstrip is a floor coating stripper designed to remove tough sealers and polish build-ups from resilient flooring. Its fast-acting formula begins to liquefy coatings upon contact, effectively softening and emulsifying old, worn, and discoloured finishes for easier removal. It is particularly effective on solvent-based coatings, burnished polish build-ups, and semi-permanent sealers. Powerstrip is intended for use on hard, resilient surfaces such as terracotta, terrazzo, natural stone, and concrete. It is important to note that this product is not suitable for use on wood, vinyl, linoleum, or plastic flooring as it may cause damage. The formula is low-foaming and low-odour with a mild citrus fragrance. It is also free-rinsing, which simplifies the process of removing slurry and residues after the stripping process is complete.

Directions for Use

Always read and understand the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) before use. Pre-test on an inconspicuous location.

Recommended Dilution Ratios:

• Light Build-ups: Dilute 1:10 (100ml per litre of water).
• Heavy Build-up / UHS Burnished Coatings: Dilute 1:4 (250ml per litre of water).

Application:

1. Thoroughly sweep the area to remove any loose soiling.
2. Liberally apply the diluted solution to a small, controllable area with a cotton mop.
3. Allow at least 5 minutes of dwell time, ensuring the surface does not dry out.
4. Agitate the area with a low-speed rotary scrubber fitted with a black or brown pad.
5. Pick up the resulting slurry with a wet-dry vacuum and rinse the floor thoroughly with clean water.
6. Allow the floor to dry completely before beginning any restoration process.
